Cowboy Bill Martin – Headliner
Comedian Cowboy Bill Martin has built a loyal following of fans from coast to coast the old fashioned way – by working the road and bringing the funny.   The Texas native has toured with some of the biggest names in country music including George Jones, George Strait, Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts and has headlined some of the most prestigious clubs and theaters across the U.S. and Canada.

But don’t let the name fool you.  Critic Punch Shaw of The Fort Worth Star Telegram says, "Martin is not your typical country-cowboy comic. There’s no talk about trailer parks or inbreeding. Sure he wears cowboy garb on stage and he speaks with a Texas accent but his comedy touches people of all cultures.  In performance, he’s apt to remind you of Gary Busey with an edge. That is especially applicable, especially when Martin flashes a toothy grin and gives a gee-whiz shrug of his broad shoulders."

What makes Bill different on stage is that he isn’t scared to go outside of his comfort zone.   “After Blue Collar hit, it seems like every comic out there was trying to be them – and ‘Redneck it’ up”, says Bill, “and I didn’t want to do that.  But when you have a name like Cowboy Bill, peoples expectations are that you are going to be just like them.”

One thing is for sure, the top bookers and club owners in America think he’s on the right path and with thousands of fans in his fan-club; America seems to think they are right.  The result from finding that truth on stage is now he has a show that is smart (something you can’t say with most country acts), truly funny, real and it’s got heart.

Candy Churilla - Feature
Candy Churilla was recently featured on NBC's Last Comic Standing. She was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where she learned to drink. As a little girl, she dreamed of escaping Scranton to make a better life for herself and she finally has--in Oakland! This Bay Area bachelorette's life is one misunderstanding, man, and cocktail after another. What this lovably twisted comic lacks in self-control she makes up for in self-involvement.  Candy won Rooftop Comedy's Comic of the Month Contest in August 2006 and was a finalist in the Ladies Only Comedy Competition at Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco.  She has appeared on the stage in Comedy Noir's Jesus Roast as Mary Magdelene and Hitler Roast as Amy Winehouse.

Aaron Wilson – Host

A natural for executing humor, Tahoe resident Aaron Wilson’s satisfaction comes from entertaining people on and off stage. Making his first debut on stage with Tahoe Comedy North at the Crystal Bay Casino’s Red Room on May 1, 2007. He has continued to come back bigger and better each time.

Guest Spot – Tonya Kaye

Tonya Kaye has spent the last decade honing her skills not only as a comic but as an actress as well, appearing in a number of television shows and movie appearances.

Originally from Oklahoma City Oklahoma she’s a force to be reckoned with as she spins her down home humor and a wicked southern drawl. She holds nothing back in her fast paced and unexpurgated look within herself and the world around her. Her likeability the moment she walks onstage is obvious and you would never expect the Pandora’s Box of comedy tidbits about to be unleashed on an unsuspecting audience. Fasten your seat belts, its going to be a bumpy night!
