Will Durst – Headliner
As the sacred cows routinely paint targets on their foreheads practically begging for someone to puncture their pomposity, America cries out for a man with the aim, strength, and style to hit them where it hurts the funniest. Will Durst is that man. Sweeping both sides of the aisle with a quiver full of arrows dipped in common sense, Durst transcends party ties, having performed at events honoring former Presidents Bill Clinton and George HW Bush as well as acclaimed appearances at both a Mayors Convention and Governors Conference.

Outraged and outrageous, Durst is as current as today’s headlines, as accurate as a sniper, and universally acknowledged by even his peers as the nation’s foremost political comic.

A Midwestern baby boomer with a media-induced identity crisis, Durst, according to the New York Times is “quite possibly the best political satirist working in the country today.” This equal opportunity offender is exceptionally adept at swatting both partisan political piñatas upside their heads.

Although a prolific writer, he professes little need for material, having it regularly delivered at 7:00 a.m. every morning in the five papers he reads daily. Busier than a blind squirrel neck deep in an almond sorting warehouse, Durst is a regular commentator for audible.com, Air America, CNN and NPR, writes a nationally syndicated op-ed column, daily website jokes—yet still finds time to perform hundreds of comedy shows every year—at clubs, corporate events, theaters and benefits…not to mention the occasional acting and voice-over role.

Reigning as C-SPAN’s favorite comic (8 appearances,) Durst is a 5-time Emmy nominee and recipient of 7 consecutive nominations for the American Comedy Awards Stand Up of the Year. He is the first comic invited to perform at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and the first American to be nominated for the prestigious Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the show “Myth America.” He has racked up more than 400 television appearances in 14 different countries while slinging jokes around the globe in his one man crusade to make people laugh out loud on purpose against their will. Hobbies include the never-ending quest for the perfect cheeseburger, while his heroes remain the same as when he was twelve—Thomas Jefferson and Bugs Bunny.

Will Durst’s performances are made possible by the First Amendment.

Stephen B – Feature
Stephen B began his comedy career in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1982. Within a few years, he was featuring in comedy clubs up and down the West Coast and by 1990, he was headlining clubs across the country and developing a reputation for being a clean high energy act.

After the birth of their fist son in 1991 and their twin boys in 1992 Stephen and his wife agreed that being on the road wasn't the best choice for their new family. He continued performing in local clubs and for corporate clients as he put the comedy career on the back burner.

He worked in Silicon Valley as a recruiter until the dot-com bust of 2000 found him without a job. It was time to get back to comedy.

Now some 23 years after he first took the comedy stage, Stephen B. continues bringing his clean, high-energy comedy to clubs, corporate and Christian audiences nationwide. His material ranges from the comical to the absurd, from silly to poignant and always hysterically funny! Stephen's show is based on real life experiences that as an audience we can all relate to and enjoy.

Stephen B has opened for headlining musical acts such as Manhattan Transfer, Al Di Meola, Weird Al Yankovic, Leon Redbone and Michael Bolton.

A finalist in both the San Francisco and the Seattle Stand-Up Comedy Competitions Stephen B. has performed on a variety of Comedy Central's Stand-Up Comedy shows and was featured on America's Funniest People. Stephen B. lives with his wife Jane and their three boys in Elk Grove, California.

Grant Lyon – Host

Oscillating between moments of hyperactivity and a laid back surfer attitude, Grant reveals his sixth grade personality on the stage. Growing up in a strict household with a large group of siblings who are brilliant, talented and great big show-offs, Grant discovered he could seek refuge in silliness. His funny skills, mired in his drive to be the center of attention, now enable Lyon to share the tales of his short life in his refreshingly unique voice.

Though barely an adult, Grant has been around. He grew up in Los Angeles, moved to Chicago, came back to Sacramento, and ended up in Santa Cruz. Moving forced him to be outgoing and make friends easily, and now those experiences help him make friends with every audience. He discovered stand-up while playing collegiate soccer at UC Santa Cruz, and unfortunately for his soccer coach, the passion of his life changed.

Multi tasking between college, sports, girls, and finally living on his own gives Grant Lyon more than enough material to keep audiences from all over captivated and coming back for more.
