H A Distributors presents Tahoe Comedy North on Tuesday, July 14th at the Crystal Bay Club Crown Room. Doors open at 7:00 and show starts at 8:00. Your headliner for the night is crowd favorite, Mike Pace, featuring the 10-year veteran of television and stage, Rocky Whatule with the twisted and entertaining, Rob Sherwood as your host. The Cleaner, Mike Trute will be filling in the guest spot for the evening. Mike Pace – Headliner

Michael Pace has been doing comedy since gas was $1.50 a gallon and he drove a Datsun. At the time he wore- a thrift store vintage tuxedo jacket, untied tennis shoes and a mullet. After raising three kids-he has learned to tie his shoes, got a haircut and buys clothes from a regular store and headlines all over.

Since his start Michael has been invited to the prestigious – Aspen Comedy Arts Festival, where he was a crowd favorite.  His relationship with HBO continued when he was on Larry David’s Emmy Award -Winning-“Curb Your Enthusiasm”.

Michael himself was nominated for an Emmy Award for his work –behind and in front of the camera “Comic Relief”.  Michael was most recently featured on “Comics Unleashed”. Over the years Michael has worked in front of –The United States Marine Corps, The United States Air Force, The United States Army and Navy.  Michael has done corporate shows for such fine American companies as, Apple, IBM, Anheuser Busch, Nintendo, Harley Davidson, American Airlines, The PGA, The Los Angeles Times, Qualcomm, Washington Mutual, The St. Louis Cardinals, Oakland Athletics and the NFL -just to name a few.

Michael has also been fortunate enough to have shared the stage-in concert with legends of music and comedy including-Jerry Seinfeld, Bob Dylan, B.B. King, Natalie Cole, Lou Rawls, Charo, Robin Williams, Chris Rock, Ellen DeGeneres, Rodney Dangerfield, Paul Rodriguez, The Smothers Brothers, Ron White, Kevin Nealon, Dennis Miller, Drew Carey, Richard Lewis, Milton Berle and Ray Romano- just to name a few.

Rocky Whatule – Feature
How do you explain wetting your pants funny through impressions, comedy, improv, dancing, and so much more? Well combine that with a high-energy comic who reaches everyone and you have...ROCKY WHATULE. With Appearances on Friends, MTV, Showtime, Jamie Kennedy X-periment, and the new host of the TV show "Sunset Stripped," this ten-year veteran of television and stage will keep everyone in stitches with humor from all walks of life.  From dating to married life, friends to family, and observations to experiences, Rocky Whatule is an all around great entertainer.  Rocky has been in the entertaining business since he was five years old.  Being the youngest of five boys in an Italian family, he has the “Look at me Complex," but once he has your attention, you will never want the show to end.  Believe me, he knows what’s funny… and it’s him.  Although being a much-credited entertainer and an award winning martial artist, Rocky says the honor he holds in the highest regard was being named “class clown” in high school.  Out to prove his high school teachers wrong, he is showing the world:  “…that everything in life is funny."  He has performed across the country, in front of tens of thousands; bringing laughter to everyone he has ever met.  Although he takes comedy very seriously, he lives buy his own motto: “You have to mature; you don’t have to grow up."

Rob Sherwood – Host
Rob Sherwood was born in New York, raised in Florida, and is presently living in Las Vegas. He has been doing standup for over ten years and has developed a charismatic stage presence that captivates audiences locally as well as those on the road. A variety of life experiences have given the comic material to draw from for his act.

Playing music was Rob’s first show business love. He is an accomplished drummer and joined his first band at the age of ll. Rob also spent many years behind the scenes as a light and sound technician. His likeability, talent and humor made him a favorite with coworkers and stars alike. The backstage experience has given him a unique comedic insight to show business on the Las Vegas Strip. The lighter side of Las Vegas culture (i.e. smoking, drinking and gambling) is explored on stage and appeals to folks all over the country.

Rob is married with four children in all shapes and sizes. He easily relates to the audience with his family material. The audience laughs at him, with him, and most importantly at themselves. Rob always has an opinion on topical issues and current events. His twisted viewpoints are entertaining and popular with all ages. Rob is also currently working on a TV project called Comedy Show n’ Tell for the new Las Vegas Television Network. Rob Sherwood loves performing before live audiences and the audience loves his performance.

Making his Crystal Bay Casino Crown Room debut is Mike Trute. He has been working in the public service industry as a drycleaner for many years. He easily finds humor in his crazy, day-to-day experiences and playfully shares his thoughts with the audience. Get ready as Mike unleashes his dirty laundry!
