H A Distributors presents a Rockin’ Comedy Night with Tahoe Comedy North on Tuesday, March 9th at the Crystal Bay Casino Crown Room. Doors open at 7:00 and show starts at 8:00. Co-headlining the performance are musical comedy star Huck Flyn and the energetic and lovable Sean Peabody. John Ager will be your host for the evening. Everyone can enjoy 2-for-1 entrees at the Steak & Lobster House for dinner before the show. Sean Peabody – Co-headliner
Sean Peabody is an energetic up and coming comic from the San Francisco Bay Area and one of Tahoe Comedy North’s favorite comedians. Sean was raised in Vallejo California and jumped on the comedy scene in Fairfield California. He has performed in clubs and colleges up and down the west coast and has worked with comedians such as, John Witherspoon, D.C. Curry, Will Durst, Andres Fernandez, John Diresta and more.
Huck Flyn – Co-headliner
Huck Flyn was born in Chicago and grew up in Southern California in the 70’s. He was offered a scholarship to Pepperdine University, but decided to pass to pursue a career performing live. He played in several successful rock bands, playing clubs and various gigs in southern California.
In the mid-seventies Huck discovered the Comedy Store in Hollywood where every Monday night he’d go down and hang out for a few hours. His first gig was opening for The Amazing Jonathon and his second gig was opening for Bill Engvall; not a bad start. Flyn, who brought his guitar and musical talent into the act, was an instant hit.
He hashad the pleasure to work with such stars as, Rob Schneider, Elaine Boozler, Margaret Cho, Vic Dunlop, Brad Garrett, Kevin Nealon, Bobby Slayton, Chris Titus, along with music acts such as, Joe Walsh, Eddie Money, Johnny Rivers, Three Dog Night, Lone Star & many, more. At present, Huck is working clubs, small concerts, casinos, colleges, and wherever there’s a rockin’ comedy night happening.
John Ager – Host
John Ager’s road to comedy took an untraditional path. His jobs have included janitor, police officer, US Air Force security, United States Deputy Marshal, and a safety manager for a trash company, all of which have contributed to his outlook on life, death, and maintaining a silly attitude toward golf and family. Not a natural progression to comedy, but after dealing with trash, what else can be done?
John has performed in clubs from Reno, NV to Philadelphia, PA. He is a regular face in comedy clubs throughout the United States and parts of New Jersey. He has hosted game shows, held roasts, opened for Emo Phillips, and worked with some of the biggest acts, (okay, some of the LARGEST acts), across the country.
