Co-Headliner – Paul Ogata
Dana Carvey. Sinbad. Paul Ogata? Yes, In October of 2007, Paul Ogata joined the exclusive club of comedians who have won the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition.

Paul's material flows from his Japanese-American upbringing and his recent marital foibles. Paul funnels all of his material through an animated and quick delivery to give the audience a non-stop roller coaster ride through his stream of consciousness. A master of improvisation, Paul likes to make each show different from the rest.

Recently, Paul has taken his comedy to film and television. In Fall of 2008, Paul is featured prominently in "Porndogs", a film co-starring adult film legends Ron Jeremy, Tera Patrick and Marilyn Chambers. Paul has also appeared in Damon Wayans' film "Behind the Smile", on CBS' "The Late Late Show" as well as on TBS, NBC and PBS.

Co-Headliner – Kermet Apio
Kermet Apio was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and moved to Seattle, Washington to attend college. He has lived there ever since. Comedy began for Kermet at an open mic night at the Comedy Underground in downtown Seattle. Nearly two years later, he decided to make the leap to full time comedy. Kermet has performed in 47 states and three Canadian provinces. He has been invited to showcase at comedy festivals in Aspen, Las Vegas, and Vancouver. He is the 2009 winner of the Great American Comedy Festival in Norfolk, Nebraska, Johnny Carson’s home town. He has appeared on television and radio, with over 40 appearances on “Rewind,” a show heard on NPR. He has entertained at over 170 colleges, 250 corporate events, 30 comedy clubs, and many cruise ships as well. His act is clean, clever, and autobiographical, and covers a range of personal topics like his home state of Hawaii, his name, his age and his family. He is married and a proud father of two. Oh, and in 1988 he was once “Dishwasher of the Month” at the Sea-Tac Airport Denny’s. Tahoe Comedy North welcomes back one of our favorite Hawaiian comedians!
